Reservations can only be made by sending a fully completed reservation form by e-mail or via the website.
After receiving the reservation confirmation 50% of the total amount has to be paid within 2 weeks. The payment of the remaining amount has to be received by the campsite 6 weeks before the date of arrival. When making reservations within 6 weeks, the total amount due must be paid at the same time as the reservation. If the payment terms are exceeded, we reserve the right to charge administration costs or cancel the reservation.
The prices stated for a particular year will remain unchanged during that year, subject to any printing errors, unforeseen VAT supplements, levies and government charges and actual obvious errors.
We may charge a deposit for the rental accommodations and/or entrance tickets. On departure the deposit will be refunded, provided the rental accommodation is left in a clean and tidy state, no inventory is missing and no damage has been caused to the accommodation or the inventory. The deposit for any entrance tickets will be refunded if the ticket (s) is (are) returned undamaged to the reception. The refund will be made in Euro.
5. CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS ALREADY CONFIRMED
Modifications involving a partial cancellation (e.g. shortening of the booked period) are subject to the cancellation conditions for that part. All modifications will be subject to a modification fee.
6. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Camping: the camping pitch can be occupied from 1 p.m. and must be vacated and left clean by 12 noon on the day of departure.
Rented accommodation: The rented accommodation is available from 15.00 hours. Please check in at reception between 3pm and 5pm. Any deficiencies and/or missing inventory should be reported to reception within 1 hour of arrival. On the day of departure the accommodation has to be left clean and tidy before 10.00 hours.
A. Within 2 days after the date of the reservation confirmation the reservation can be cancelled free of charge, except for reservations made within 6 weeks before arrival.
B. In case of cancellation between 7 days after the date of the reservation confirmation and 6 weeks before arrival, 50% of the total rent will be charged.
C. In case of cancellation between 6 weeks before arrival and 1 week before arrival 90% of the total rent will be charged.
D. For cancellation between 1 week before arrival and the day of arrival itself, the full rent will be charged.
E. In case of early departure or late arrival there will be no refund of payments made.
F. You must cancel in writing.
8. LIABILITY/ RULES OF CONDUCT
A. The campsite cannot accept liability for loss, theft, damage or injury caused to or by users of the accommodation offered by the campsite, however this damage or injury may have occurred. Participation in activities organised by the campsite or third parties is at your own risk.
B. Campers or users of a rental accommodation must respect the rules of conduct, which the manager wishes to see respected by the guests present on his site.
C. The camper or the user of a rental accommodation who causes nuisance or inconvenience may, after a warning, be removed from the accommodation or from the camping site, without reimbursement of payments.
D. Statements made by members of staff of Corsendonk campsites, in whatever capacity, concerning the liability of "Petite Suisse" campsite do not bind the Corsendonk group.
E. Small pets (maximum 1) are allowed in rental accommodations only with the prior written consent of the campsite. It is not allowed to leave pets unattended in the rental accommodation. The owner of the pet is responsible for any damage or contamination.
9. CANCELLATION FUND
It is recommended to join the cancellation fund. By joining the cancellation fund you can safeguard yourself against the costs of cancellation of the rental accommodation/camping site, if one of the travelers:
A. suddenly falls ill or is injured as a result of an accident;
B. suffers a death in the immediate family, i.e. death of spouse, parents, parents-in-law, children, brothers or sisters.
In addition, this fund will compensate you for cancellation costs if the head of the family becomes involuntarily unemployed. Conclusion of the cancellation fund is only possible at the time of booking. The cancellation fund provides coverage from the day of booking until the departure date you have entered on the reservation request. In the event of premature departure, for one of the reasons mentioned above, a refund will be made in proportion to the number of days of holiday not taken. In this case you must report the vacancy of the rental/camping site to the campsite reception. Consumption will not be refunded if the holiday is cancelled prematurely. In order to be eligible for payment from the cancellation fund, a cancellation statement and (medical) supporting documents must be presented. In case of cancellation, there will be no payment of the cancellation fund premium for reservation costs. The premium is 5,5% of the total amount + € 5,00 administration costs.
